1.2. By installing and using this alarm you agree to this policy and the processing of audio collected from your alarm.

 3.     Collecting personal information

3.1. We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:

  • information provided to us when a request has been submitted to us on our website (including names, genders, addresses, and contact telephone numbers);

  • audio recordings generated (where applicable) when an alarm is used to trigger a response.

  • alarm log data.

4.     Using personal information

4.1. Personal information processed by us will be used for the purposes specified in this policy.

4.2. We may use your personal information to:

  • administer our business;

  • personalise our service for you;

  • provide/install/maintain/monitor/recover any alarm systems as instructed by the requesting party.

4.3. We will not supply personal information to any third party for the purpose of their or any other third party's direct marketing.

5.     Disclosing personal information

5.1. We may disclose personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers.

5.2. We may disclose personal information:

  • to the extent that we are required to do so by law;

  • in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal, professional conduct or disciplinary proceedings;

  • in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights;

  • to a registered Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with a genuine reason for requesting such information.

  • to any person who we reasonably believe may apply to a court or other competent authority for disclosure of that personal information where, in our reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order disclosure of that personal information.

5.3. We may notify your procuring organisation in the event of an alarm activation.

 This may include;

  • Your name and address

  • The time and date of the alarm activation

  • The category of alarm received

This will not include;

  • Audio recordings

  • Detail of events heard on audio recordings

5.4. Except as provided in this policy, we will not provide personal information to third parties.

6.     Retaining personal information

6.1. Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.

6.2. Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 5, we will retain documents (including electronic documents) containing personal data in accordance with the Management of Police Information as published by the NPCC.

7.     Legality

7.1. Data protection legislation requires that we have a legal reason to process your personal data.

7.2. Your personal data is processed by us on the basis that it is within our legitimate interest to do so in order to provide our services to you.

8.1. All data subjects have rights with regards to their personal data. If we collect, store or use your personal data you have the right to;
